Privacy Policy
Effective September 25, 2026 (updated the same day for the weekly vote)
Daily Pixel TV ("we") is a small independent animation channel. This policy explains what information we handle on this website, on our channels, and in our Discord server and Patreon page. The short version: we don't collect personal information from visitors, and we never sell or share anything about you.
This website
This website has no sign-up, no forms, no cookies of its own, no advertising and no analytics. It is served by Cloudflare at dailypixel.tv (and our old address, dailypixeltv.web.app on Google Firebase Hosting, only forwards visitors there). Like any web host, they keep basic technical logs of requests (such as IP address, browser type and the time of the request) to deliver and protect the site. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy and the Google Privacy Policy. The page loads its fonts from Google Fonts.
Our channels
We post our own videos to our own accounts on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook. We read the public comments left on our videos to find ideas for the show; the only information about other people we see there is what they post publicly (their public username and comment). Each platform's own privacy policy covers what it collects when you watch or comment.
Our Discord server and Patreon
Memberships are handled by Patreon, which processes all payments; we never see card or bank details. Patreon tells us your display name and your tier so we can give you your supporter role and credit you. If you are credited in a story, we use the name you give us.
In our Discord server we see what members post there, as every member does. If you use our referral program (Scouts), our Discord bot keeps your Discord user ID and display name, the members you invited, and whether they became supporters, only to count referrals and give the rewards.
For the weekly vote, the bot keeps your Discord user ID with the votes you cast and any extra votes you earned (and how you earned them). Each vote or award record deletes itself about two months after it was made, and your monthly balance starts over each month. To give "active this month" votes it reads messages in our public chat rooms to count words, but keeps only the dates you posted this month, never what you wrote. If you send an idea with /idea, it keeps the idea, the name you want credited and whether a moderator approved it. An idea waiting for a moderator is deleted after two months, a rejected one at once, and an idea leaves the bot's records when it is retired or wins. If your idea wins, the name you chose and your user ID stay in the vote's results history for about six months, and that name is credited in the video and on the results board. An approved idea is also posted publicly in #pitches with your name; those Discord posts stay unless you ask a moderator to remove them.
Keeping and deleting data
We keep public comments we've read only as long as they're useful for planning the show, and at most 12 months. Referral records are kept while the program runs. To ask us to delete anything we hold about you, or to ask what we hold, email dailypixeltv@gmail.com and we'll reply within 30 days. See also our data deletion instructions.
Children
This website and our channels are not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and its effective date.
